Massive video wall to feature at F1 show

Video walls have many uses and often firms take advantage of such technology to help them create displays during industry gatherings. One event that will feature impressive audio visual installations, including a massive video wall, is Inforum 2012 in the US this month.

People will gather at the Colorado Convention Centre in Denver from April 22nd until 25th and they will be able to see footage of a Ferrari F1 driving experience. Attendees will get to witness the “power and thrill of accelerating up to 200 mph on a Formula 1 race course,” organisers claim.

Being able to present footage like this on large video walls gives firms the chance to achieve a real wow factor.

Meanwhile, as well as the audio visual installations, a 2012 Ferrari Formula 1 show car will also be on display. This is all to support the key conference theme, which is “engineered for speed”.

Organisers note that visitors will be able to make the most of some great photo opportunities and they will also have the chance to win some highly prized Grand Prix tickets.

Chief executive of Infor Charles Phillips remarked: “Nothing conveys the message of speed better than Ferrari and Formula 1. Enterprise software users are asking for faster deployments, quicker time to value, and speedier upgrades, and the Ferrari F1 show car represents what we are now delivering to the market in the form of innovative software and technology that make up our Infor10 release.”

Talking about the upcoming conference itself, he added: “It might get loud, but perfectly safe. Seat belts will not be required.”

As well as the entertainment and audio visual displays, there will also be more than 700 educational sessions during the gathering.

Events like this can be ideal for companies to showcase their offerings and demonstrate their expertise.
